Sonia Jones

Sonia is the owner and lead travel advisor at Sonia Jones Travel. Sonia loves planning detailed itineraries, especially for discerning travellers and families. Sonia started travelling when she was just two years old and she has passed her passion for different cultures, countries and cuisine on to her children. Her favourite destinations are Japan and Italy, thanks largely to her ability to speak Japanese and her Italian heritage.

During Sonia's 21 years in the travel industry, she has been recognised for her achievements across several platforms, including being a Flight Centre Global Achiever nine times, Platinum Consultant with MTA travel three years in a row, Winner of the MTA Innovation & Marketing Engagement Award in 2016, Telstra Women in Business Award Nominee in 2018, Finalist for Virtuoso's Most Innovative Advisor Asia/Pacific 2018 and Finalist for Virtuoso's Most Admired Advisor Asia/Pacific 2019.

Amy Gratton

Amy has been in the travel industry since 2002, starting her career in a small boutique travel agency in England. Amy emigrated to Australia in 2008, where she has spent her time gaining experience in both the retail and corporate sectors of the travel industry.

Amy has travelled extensively and has had some incredible travel experiences across the globe. A few of her favourites include a White Christmas in Jasper in the Canadian Rockies, celebrating New Year's Eve in Hong Kong and scuba diving at one of the world’s best dive sites, Sipadan Island in Malaysia. With her young family in tow, Amy has also been to Dubai, Italy, the Netherlands, the UK, Hawaii and Canada.

She knows all the tips and tricks about how to survive a long-haul flight with under-fives and how to get the best out of a family holiday – be it a shorter domestic break or an extensive month-long overseas adventure.

Tiana Brown 

Ti has worked in the travel industry for four years. Ti says that choosing this career path is the best decisions she has ever made! Learning her trade in a busy Flight Centre retail environment, Ti qualified for Flight Centre’s annual Global Ball as a novice consultant.

She absolutely loves everything about travel, and believes that exploring all parts of the world is the very best way to learn, to grow and to open your mind to all that this beautiful world has to offer.

Her favourite destinations? New York, Rome, Dubai and Havana!

Alysha White 

Alysha has been turning travel dreams into great experiences for over 23 years. She began her career at Flight Centre where she won multiple top consultant awards and was a Global Achiever nine times. In 2010 she established her own business as an independent advisor with MTA Travel where she was awarded Platinum Advisor status and built a strong repeat and referral client database.

Alysha has an adventurous side and loves hiking and skiing. She has completed many well-known hiking routes and skied all around the world. Before beginning her travel industry career, Alysha also studied to be a pilot and lived in the USA.

Alysha’s attention to detail and fast turnaround makes her an asset to her corporate travel clients. In addition, having a young family herself gives Alysha personal insights into travel with children and how to make your family holiday work with ease. She is also a fan of cruising and loves planning cruise holidays for both couples and families.

Alysha joins the Sonia Jones Travel team as an Independent Contractor and looks forward to working with her existing clients as well as welcoming new ones into her business.

Christine Percy

Christine is a jack of all trades in administration and small business management and has worked in a range of industry sectors contributing to her diverse range of skills and experience. She is happiest when using her organisation skills and attention to detail to ensure things run smoothly for clients.

Christine has enjoyed extensive travel in Europe, with Italy holding a special place in her heart due to the food, historic architecture and a marriage proposal in Venice. She is also a sucker for unusual rock formations such as the Moeraki Boulders in New Zealand and the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland and has hiked several volcanoes and glaciers.

Her highlight reels also include animal experiences such as paddle boarding with turtles in Hawaii and whale watching in Moreton Bay. As a mum of two, an annual holiday staple is relaxing at the beach enjoying the surf, sand and a glass of wine.

Working at SJT combines three of Christine's favourite things : working in her local community, working in a small business and travel !

Feriel Belcadhi

Feriel has worked across Europe and North Africa in a range of fields including journalism, sales, editing, web writing and digital marketing. She moved to Australia with her family a few years ago and is our resident French speaker.

Travelling is a true passion for Feriel. She has always jumped at the chance to use her passport! Africa holds a special place in her heart, having travelled extensively across the lesser-known countries of Mali, Senegal and Burkina Faso. Her favourite trip is one she took to Thailand with her best friend in her younger days – youthful and carefree!

Feriel brings her marketing experience to SJT as she learns more about the travel industry and builds a new career in this space.
